$75,000 to $120,000/yr. based on experience We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize all aspects of our manufacturing supply chain operations. This role is responsible for overseeing procurement, inventory management, production planning, logistics, supplier relationships, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure operational efficiency and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, manufacturing experience, and a proven ability to improve supply chain performance while reducing costs and maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with company goals and production requirements. Manage procurement, inventory control, production scheduling, warehousing, and logistics operations. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and transportation partners. Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to reduce waste, shortages, and excess stock. Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and finance teams to support manufacturing objectives. Analyze supply chain data and KPIs to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods. Lead forecasting and demand planning activities. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with suppliers. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain and logistics staff. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and supply chain best practices.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus. 5+ years of supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, production planning, and logistics. Experience with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel/data analysis skills. Proven leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities. Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or APICS certification is a plus. Strategic planning and analytical thinking. Vendor and supplier management. Cost reduction and process optimization. Forecasting and demand planning Inventory optimization Strong organizational and project management skills Cross-functional collaboration
