The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of day-to-day operations at Miami Valley Metal Recycling. This leadership role ensures efficient production processes, maintains safety and quality standards, and supports the achievement of performance and operational goals. The Plant Manager will direct staff, oversee equipment, and collaborate with management to optimize plant performance.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of the recycling plant, including material processing, equipment utilization, and safety compliance.
  • Lead and coordinate production teams to meet daily and weekly operational targets.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, efficiency, safety, and quality, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee maintenance schedules and ensure all equipment functions properly to support optimal production.
  • Enforce safety protocols and training to promote a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Manage staffing, perform and ensure accountability of multiple roles, including training, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement operational strategies, and support performance outcomes.
  • Control operational costs to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Address and resolve operational issues promptly, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in manufacturing or recycling plant management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA compliance.
  • Ability to analyze operational performance and implement process improvements.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage others and respond to operational needs.
Pay:
$70,000.00
  • $85,000.
