Job Summary Shambaugh & Son L.P. is seeking an Assistant Plant Manager for the Fabrication Shop. In this position you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Fabrication Shop while ensuring all safety requirements are maintained. #shambaugh #ppf #LI-TS #LI-onsite Essential Duties & Responsibilities Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to scheduling requirements Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping Maintain a trusting relationship with work group, manage and develop shift staff Commit to plant safety procedures Address employees' issues and work with Shop Manager to address Other duties assigned Qualifications Proven working experience as a production shift supervisor, managing production employees Adequate knowledge of business and management principles Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise Be knowledgeable of safety and quality Ability to create accountability and to lead by example Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills Strong troubleshooting skills Able to adapt to constant changing schedule Ability to always remain flexible Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.
