Job Description

Position Summary:
Responsible for managing daily shop floor assembly operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. This role leads production teams, drives continuous improvement, and ensures output meets customer requirements, cost targets, and delivery schedules.
Essential Duties:
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Manage day-to-day production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets. Develop and execute production schedules in alignment with demand and capacity. Monitor performance through KPIs (e.g., throughput, efficiency, scrap, on-time delivery). Ability to analyze and communicate data to make data-driven decisions. Ensure adherence to standard work, processes, and production procedures. Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and team members. Drive a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Conduct performance reviews, training plans, and succession planning. Partner with HR on staffing, employee relations, and workforce planning. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Promote a strong safety culture and drive hazard identification and mitigation. Support audits and corrective actions related to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications. Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues. Partner with Quality and Engineering teams on process improvements. Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Sales to align production plans. Manage labor planning, capacity, and resource allocation. Ensure timely communication of production status, delays, and risks. Manage labor efficiency, scrap, and operational costs. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives. Track and report production metrics to leadership when required. Other duties and responsibilities assigned.
Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field. 5-7 years' experience in manufacturing environment. Prior management experience required.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company policies, the Code of Ethical Business Conduct and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership and team development skills. Knowledge of lean manufacturing/continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., D365, SAP, or similar). Problem-solving and decision-making capability in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
