Job Description:
The Power Plant Manager directs the safe, efficient, and reliable daily operations of our generation facility. They are responsible for managing plant personnel, overseeing maintenance, optimizing operational budgets, and strictly enforcing all environmental and safety regulations to meet production goals. Core Responsibilities Directs daily activities of plant operators, engineers, and technicians to ensure reliable power generation and distribution. Ensures the facility adheres to OSHA standards, environmental permits, and other regulatory requirements. Oversees predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and extend the life of plant assets. Develops and manages operating and capital budgets, tracks Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and identifies cost-saving opportunities. Handles recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and competency development for all plant staff. Key Qualifications & Requirements A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or a closely related technical field) is highly preferred. Targeting 10+ years of experience in power plant operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role. Deep understanding of power generation technologies, preferably gas turbine plants. #ENG1
