Job Title:
Supply Chain Manufacturing Manager Job Description The Supply Chain Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations to ensure the efficient, safe, and timely production of high-quality products. This role provides leadership to manufacturing teams, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures alignment with organizational goals related to quality, productivity, and cost. Responsibilities Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments are consistently achieved. Monitor and adjust staffing levels, production schedules, and resource allocation to meet changing operational demands. Drive a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging Lean Manufacturing principles and data-driven decision-making. Partner with Quality Control to maintain product standards, resolve quality issues, and implement corrective actions. Develop, coach, and mentor supervisors and team members to build a strong leadership pipeline. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies; investigate incidents and implement corrective measures as needed. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and other departments to address operational challenges and meet customer expectations. Establish and execute strategic initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall plant performance. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred). 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing. Strong understanding of capacity planning and lean manufacturing. Ability to read engineering drawings and lead technical teams. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or CI is a plus. Work Environment This role involves working closely with manufacturing teams and cross-functional departments to ensure operational efficiency. The position requires adaptability to changing demands and the ability to lead and develop team members effectively. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Allentown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr. Candidate will have direct employee benefits. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Allentown,PA.
