Monday-Friday | 1st Shift Run the Shift Like You Own It Looking for Production Manager jobs in Birdsboro where you can lead from the floor and keep production moving? This opportunity puts your leadership, manufacturing experience, and problem-solving skills to work keeping people productive, quality high, and safety at the center of every shift. Lead daily machining and production operations while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery goals are met. This role oversees production teams, coordinates workflow, supports troubleshooting efforts, manages staffing and resources, and works closely with engineering, quality, maintenance, and planning teams to maintain efficient manufacturing operations.
Education Requirements Associate's, Bachelor's, or Technical degree preferred Experience Requirements 5+ years of manufacturing or machining experience
Previous leadership, lead, foreman, or supervisory experience preferred
Experience with ERP/MRP systems, production reporting, and manufacturing operations
Lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement experience preferred Job Duties Supervise daily machining and production activities
Assign work based on schedules, skill levels, and production priorities
Monitor production progress and adjust resources as needed
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and housekeeping standards
Review blueprints, work instructions, and specifications
Support resolution of equipment, tooling, process, and quality issues
Verify inspections meet customer and quality requirements
Train, coach, and mentor production employees
Maintain production records, labor reporting, and downtime tracking
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste Physical Capabilities Ability to stand and walk throughout production areas for extended periods during the shift.
Ability to bend, reach, climb stairs, and move throughout manufacturing or warehouse environments as required.
Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to safely work around production machinery, material handling equipment, noise, and other conditions common to manufacturing environments.
