Job Description
NORAM CSM
Senior Leadership team, where you work on the business with your colleagues from Product Management, Sales, Procurement, S&OP, Finance, and Human Resources to achieve the business line goals. In this role, you will strategically navigate complex issues that deliver long-term plans in support of CSM strategy. Achieve Veolia Green Up goals. Provide quality products and on time in full (OTIF) delivery services to customers, matching lead times and product cost to gain market share. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliv e r innovative products to the market ahead of competition. Utilize demand data to inform and align on inventory strategy, production optimization, storage and staffing requirements. Ensure all elements of supply chain are aligned to provide the best service possible to our customers.Asset Protection:
Improve maintenance programs (preventative, predictive) to avoid breakdowns, reduce costs, and extend equipment lifespan. Develop 5-year capital expenditures plans, executing each year on the approved budget to achieve the sites' strategy. Collaborate with the Global Engineering and Process Chemistry teams to ensure engineering standards and process safety guidelines are followed.Financials:
Maintain cost competitiveness. Exceed manufacturing and logistics Variable Cost Productivity annual targets, driving projects like batch size and cycle time optimization, rail transportation, waste reduction, etc. Collaborate with our S&OP and Procurement teams on Direct Materials Productivity projects. Optimize our manufacturing footprint, logistics network, and strategic use of tollers. Accept opportunities to influence and support Merger & Acquisition activities. Welcome collaboration and best practice sharing as a competitive advantage.Qualifications Core Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university or college. Other engineering and scientific degrees with chemical manufacturing experience may be considered. 10+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing, with proven plant / production leadership experience. Knowledge of OSHA Process Safety Management, EPA Risk Management Program, DHS programs preferred. Multi-plant (regional) management experience preferred. Up to 50% travel required.Additional Information Skills & Abilities:
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience identifying and developing leaders. Analytical ability with experience performing data analysis and developing operation metrics and strategies. Experience with developing budgets and writing business plans. Knowledgeable in cost reduction and implementing best practices. Manage multiple and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
