What You'll Do as a
Manufacturing Manager:
Lead daily production operations across machining, fabrication, and final assembly departments. Own the Master Production Schedule to support production goals and on-time delivery. Assign labor and production resources to balance workflow and reduce bottlenecks. Oversee quality control processes and resolve supplier or production-related issues. Supervise purchasing strategy, vendor coordination, and inventory planning. Manage maintenance scheduling for CNC machines, forklifts, and shop equipment. Evaluate buy-vs-make decisions to improve efficiency, lead times, and production capacity. Drive operational improvements across manufacturing processes and shop performance.
Our Ideal Manufacturing Manager:
Experienced & Technical Leader:
Required experience includes 7+ years in manufacturing environments and 4+ years leading production teams, along with strong knowledge of machining, fabrication, mechanical assembly, engineering documentation, and capital equipment or CNC manufacturing environments preferred
Systems-Oriented:
Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems, manufacturing workflows, production planning, and production scheduling; JobBoss2 or similar software experience preferred.
Detail-Oriented:
Maintains quality standards, production accuracy, and strong oversight across manufacturing processes.
Flexible & Level-Headed:
Able to adapt to changing priorities and lead teams effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing environments.
Professional Communicator:
Handles conversations with employees, vendors, and leadership productively and professionally.
