The Commodity Manager for Contract Manufacturing and Brand Label is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness and quality performance across externally manufactured and brand label product portfolios. This role leads Supplier selection, negotiation, and lifecycle management for contract manufacturing partners and brand label suppliers, aligning procurement objectives with business growth, innovation and resiliency priorities. The role reports to the Head of Contract Manufacturing and Brand Label and acts as a trusted advisor shaping strategic priorities and driving the execution of high-impact, cross functional initiatives and special projects. Net Income :
Negotiate Master Procurement Agreements, including pricing, terms & conditions, payment terms in alignment with SI N orth America, Purchasing C ouncil , and Location Procurement Lead end to end C NI (Contribution to Net Income) oversight which includes PPC ( Price Performance Controlling) and MC P ( Material Cost Productivity ) across assigned contract manufacturing and Brand label categories. Utilize Supply Market Intelligence, Siemens Spend Pooling, and all commercial levers and technical levers to drive productivit
Commodity Strategy :
Develop and execute Commodity Strategy Roadmap. Drive Cost competitiveness and Value creation by implementing should-cost modeling and benchmarking, leading strategic negotiations and long-term agreements and optimizing total cost of ownership. Ensure Supply resiliency and supplier portfolio optimization by designing and executing dual sourcing and risk mitigation strategies. Supplier s & internal teams
Relationship Management:
Manage relationship with all assigned suppliers . Relationships include negotiating pricing, monitoring performance to agreed terms and conditions . Collaborate with global commodity management and/or Product Management while optimizing company-wide buying power by reviewing the financial, quality, pricing, service, and availability level of suppliers. You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain 7plus years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, product management or operations. Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Contract Negotiations, Cost modeling and FinancialAnalysis, Supply Chain and Manufacturing knowledge, ERP systems and data analytics. 15-20 % to North American Operational sites and Supplier's Facilities in mainly North Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
An engineering degree is not mandatory, but advantageous Having a Growth mindset, embrace challenges and show persistence in overcoming obstacles Strong problem-solving skills, extreme ownership, high level of self-motivationand personal efficiency. Ability to use Microsoft copilot AI tools for excel file analysis and editing,any repetitive tasks etc. Collaboration skills to facilitatecross-functional meetings with various departments such as Product Development, Finance and Operations to align on objective, timelines and deliverables.
