Job Description

Position Summary :
Member of the Senior Management Team under the direction of the President. Supports Company vision statement and helps to promote a positive corporate culture. Plans and manages plant operations including manufacturing, mold room, stamping and tool room functions to ensure that Company productions, quality, cost and scheduling goals are met.
Essential Functions :
1. Plans, manages and coordinates production operations to ensure that related goals are achieved. Projects labor and facility requirements based upon sales forecasts provided. Manages coordination of daily production requirements such as staffing, machinery and product to be shipped. Establishes operations policies and procedures. 2. Holds a supervisory role with managers and team leaders and directs and supports their objectives. Conducts regular staff meetings to discuss production issues and ideas, review production requirements, shipping records and foster team communications. 3. Promotes safety and production quality. Oversees training of personnel in use of equipment. Verifies production output and quality to ISO. Identifies concerns and direct correction when necessary. 4. Interacts with a wide variety of personnel including managers, vendors, customers, regulatory officials, and trade organizations to conduct business and project desired Company image. 5. Plans and establishes work assignments. Interviews and selects candidates for hire. Initiates recommendations for personnel changes, including performance evaluations, salary adjustments, promotions, transfers and terminations. Assists HR Department in the resolution of employment related issues surrounding performance. 6. Involved in strategic business planning.
Other Accountabilities :
Perform similar work-related duties as required.
Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree recommended, MBA a plus. 7-10 years experience or equivalent.

Pay:
$76,000.00 - $99,000.00 per year
