Job title:
Manufacturing Manager Mission:
The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives are achieved. This individual will oversee production teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize manufacturing processes, and develop future leaders while ensuring compliance with company standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production schedules, quality standards, safety requirements, and delivery commitments are consistently achieved. Develop, coach, and mentor production supervisors and frontline employees while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, employee engagement, and continuous improvement. Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives by identifying process improvements, reducing waste, improving efficiency, monitoring KPIs (OEE, scrap, downtime, labor efficiency), and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Planning to resolve production challenges, support new product introductions, and improve operational performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred; equivalent manufacturing leadership experience will be considered. 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing environment; HVAC, automotive, or heavy manufacturing experience is strongly preferred. Proven experience leading production teams, improving operational performance, and implementing Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies. Strong knowledge of manufacturing KPIs, production planning, quality systems, safety regulations, and root cause problem-solving techniques. Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred), excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay:
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
