SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Manufacturing Manager oversees the daily operations of a specific plant department. The Manufacturing Manager will coordinate, plan, and direct production processes to meet safety, quality, and cost objectives. Key duties involve optimizing workflows, managing budgets, and supervising production staff, and ensuring adherence of all department personnel to ELS guidelines.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Enforce health and safety regulations to ELS and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Develop production schedules and align output to meet sales forecasts and/or safety stock levels. Establish and enforce rigorous quality standards to ensure all parts meet engineering and/or customer specifications. Manage departmental expenses, approving consumable expenditures, and make equipment recommendations to upper management. Manage and maintain all inventory within the departmental scope, including cycle counts and accurate work order issues and completions. Ensure a preventive maintenance process is in place for all equipment, including appropriate repair items in stock at the facility. Manage, develop, and support departmental personnel, including hiring, training, and shift supervision, ensuring the team has all the necessary resources to complete required tasks. Utilize frameworks such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma to drive efficiency and reduce cost and lead-times. Work closely with the Plant Leadership Team to achieve overall manufacturing plant goals. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Know and understand the Endurance Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality System Manual, Quality Operating Procedures and Technical Work Instructions. Understand and comply with all safety procedures, protocols, and Endurance policies. Follow all policies communicated by Endurance Lift Solutions. Operate heavy machinery, including but not limited to: Overhead Cranes, forklifts, Pultrusion Machines, Manual lathes and mills, and/or Assembly equipment. Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by the plant manager within the physical constraints of the job. Attend Safety Meetings and exhibit behavior consistent with safety culture. Complete all required quality and safety training.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Thorough understanding of Manufacturing processes within an ERP environment. Ability to supervise up to 50 employees and delegate effectively. Mechanically inclined. Intermediate to Advanced computer skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a High School diploma or general education degree (GED). 5 - 7 years of supervisory experience in a related field.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment is typically considered within an ELS location during normal or extended business hours. Work environment may also include customer sites, including oil well sites, and meeting venues. Requirements

Requires a High School diploma or general education degree (GED). Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence as required. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Basic to Intermediate computer skills working with MS Office (preferred) Prior Supervisory Experience (preferred) Bilingual (English/Spanish) (preferred) A combination of the above qualifications may also be considered.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the plant or warehouse. Ability to regularly lift 70 pounds and carry 50 pounds Must be able to safely bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at area. Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand tools and mechanical tools. Must be able to safely mount and dismount from the back of a truck. Must be able to work at a fast pace. Must be able to tolerate changing priorities, and complete assignments despite frequent interruptions. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
