Job Description

Program ManagerLocation:
San Antonio, TXPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead end-to-end program delivery within the aerospace manufacturing environment. The Program Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing complex, multi-disciplinary programs that meet cost, schedule and quality targets. This role requires strong program management skills, deep understanding of aerospace industry processes, and hands-on experience with manufacturing operations and ERP systems to drive cross-functional alignment and continuous improvement.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead program planning, scheduling, risk management and execution across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and quality teams to meet program objectives for cost, schedule and performance.

Develop and maintain integrated program plans, milestones and budgets; track progress and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and issues.

Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners/suppliers, facilitating clear communication, decision-making and escalation when needed.

Manage configuration control, change management and requirements traceability in accordance with aerospace standards and customer expectations.

Leverage ERP systems to ensure accurate program data, resource allocation, production planning and procurement alignment.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes, production flow and supplier performance to optimize cost and quality.

Prepare program status reports, executive briefings and customer communications to provide timely, concise updates on program health.

Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and quality requirements specific to the aerospace industry and participate in audits and corrective action processes.

QualificationsBachelors degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Business or related field; advanced degree or PMP certification preferred.5+ years of program or project management experience within the aerospace industry5+ years of experience within manufacturing.

Demonstrated experience with manufacturing operations and production processes, including supplier management and quality control.

Proven expertise using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Cloud ERP or similar) to manage program data, planning and procurement.

Strong skills in program planning, risk management, budgeting, change control and cross-functional leadership.

Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to executives and customers.

Comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and able to drive decisions to closure.

Nice to have: experience with CETEC systems or related aerospace-specific engineering/manufacturing tools.
