is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Manufacturing Manager to lead operations within our Value-Added production areas. This manager-level role is responsible for driving performance across multiple production lines, leading supervisors and teams, and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This is a key leadership position with direct impact on production output, quality performance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about developing teams, improving processes, and delivering results. What You'll Do Lead Production Operations Oversee daily manufacturing operations across Honeycomb Production (Expansion, Dip Tank), Saws, Heat Form, Blanks, Hand Parts, and Bonding Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to Production Supervisors and teams Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are consistently met Step in as needed to support operations and maintain continuity Drive Performance & Continuous Improvement Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive operational improvements Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and machine uptime Partner with Quality and Engineering teams to support new processes and product launches Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across the department Plan & Execute Production Strategy Collaborate with Planning, Sales, and Purchasing to align production schedules and material availability Track production output, inventory levels, and material usage Establish and communicate accurate lead times for customer orders Partner Cross-Functionally Work closely with Maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and uptime Partner with Human Resources on hiring, employee development, and workforce planning Participate in cross-functional meetings to support long-term planning and business objectives Utilize EC Applications (ECC ERP system) to manage supplies and production needs Champion Safety & Team Culture Promote a safe, compliant, and engaged work environment Foster a team-oriented culture focused on accountability, communication, and performance Lead by example with a visible, hands-on presence on the production floor What You Bring Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment Strong understanding of production processes, scheduling, and operational workflows Ability to lead teams, prioritize competing demands, and drive results Experience working with KPIs and performance metrics Strong communication and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience preferred (EC Applications a plus) Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (10+ years in manufacturing) Work Environment Combination of office and manufacturing floor Exposure to typical manufacturing conditions (noise, temperature variations, etc.) Ability to be on your feet and actively engaged on the production floor
