Position Summary Open Plan Systems is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager to oversee daily warehouse and production operations. This individual will be responsible for managing workflow, supervising team members, maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring product quality, and supporting a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of leading a team with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of productivity and accountability. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse and production operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Supervise and manage a team of 6+ employees, providing direction, support, and accountability. Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders. Maintain company equipment and promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Ensure all employees adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards. Attend departmental meetings and provide accurate production updates, reports, and performance metrics. Collaborate with other departments to ensure products are manufactured and distributed according to company standards and customer requirements. Utilize computers, labeling equipment, identification systems, and other tools to support operational processes. Ensure travelers and production documentation are completed and issued accurately by the end of each day. Print sales orders and coordinate the timely transfer of completed products to the shipping department. Manage product shortages and prioritize fulfillment based on customer ship dates. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment based on current and projected production demands. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Associate degree or higher. Experience with Epicor ERP software. Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or packaging environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and lift materials throughout the workday. Ability to safely maneuver materials and equipment, including items that may be heavy or awkward. Comfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to temperature fluctuations, moving machinery, and elevated noise levels.
