Overview The General Manager serves as the strategic and operational leader of a truss manufacturing facility, driving sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence. This role is designed for a proven leader in the component manufacturing industry who understands the full lifecycle of truss operations from sales and design through production and delivery. You will be responsible for setting the vision and executing strategies that expand market share, optimize plant performance, and elevate team capability. By leveraging your deep knowledge of truss design workflows, production processes, and customer demands, you will align all departments to achieve aggressive business objectives. This position requires hands-on leadership across all facets of the operation, including Components Sales, Design, and Manufacturing. You will build and develop high-performing teams, streamline processes, and ensure the facility consistently delivers quality products on time and at scale. Responsibilities Complete responsibility of Profit and Loss of Plant. Oversee inventory control Oversee equipment maintenance program Oversee continuous improvement program in all areas Evaluation and development of staff and leadership Increase management effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, coaching, disciplining managers. Communicating values, strategies and objectives Developing an environment where the offering of information and opinions are appreciated and expected. Develop strategic goals by studying technology and financial opportunities; then recommending ideas. Creating action plans for departments; design, production, and sales Build company image by collaborating with customers, community organizations and employees. Qualifications Must be willing to relocate Must have good leadership skills Must have good interpersonal skills Must have excellent problem-solving skills Must be able to work under pressure Additional qualifications of successfully passing 84's pre-employment process, including but not limited to math, PSI, and drug tests as well as a background check
