Packaging Lead Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Packaging Lead for the second shift at a food manufacturing facility in Frederickson. You will play a crucial role in inspecting noodles and managing the packaging process. Responsibilities Inspect noodles and ensure quality standards are met. Stand for up to 8 hours per day while managing the packaging line. Lead and supervise a team of six people in packaging operations. Teach and mentor team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Collaborate with the day shift lead for seamless transition and communication. Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Oversee operators across two main lines and one tempura line. Essential Skills Strong leadership skills with the ability to teach and guide a team. Production backgrounds, preferably in food manufacturing. Good attendance record and reliability. Open to direct hire. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in manufacturing and lead roles. Food production experience is helpful but not required. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a food manufacturing facility specializing in pasta noodles located in Frederickson. The role is on the swing shift, from 2pm to 10:30pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work weekends if needed. Attend meetings at 1pm or collaborate with the day shift lead at 1:30pm for optimal integration. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Tacoma, WA.
