Requirements Five or more years of manufacturing leadership or production-management experience preferred Experience in architectural millwork, cabinetry, woodworking, furniture, or related manufacturing Strong knowledge of CNC manufacturing processes Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and architectural plans Experience with ERP systems; Sage preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills Knowledge of production scheduling, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and root-cause analysis Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to walk the production floor, bend, reach, climb, and occasionally lift 50 pounds Comfortable working around machinery, wood dust, and varying temperatures Ability to pass a five-panel oral drug screen and criminal background check Closed-toe shoes and required PPE must be worn Job Duties Lead, coach, and develop production employees Create and manage daily and weekly production schedules Oversee CNC machining, assembly, sanding, finishing, shipping, and receiving Allocate labor and balance departmental workloads Monitor productivity, workflow, quality, and delivery performance Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions Ensure products meet drawings, specifications, and customer requirements Investigate quality concerns and reduce scrap and rework Maintain OSHA compliance and lead safety training Coordinate preventive maintenance and equipment repairs Monitor inventory and material availability Improve workflow, machine utilization, and operating procedures Conduct production meetings and manage employee performance Track KPIs, including efficiency, quality, safety, uptime, waste, and overtime Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Short-term disability insurance Two weeks of paid time off 401(k) eligibility after one year Approximately 4% company match Safety glasses provided Full-time leadership opportunity Unpaid facility shutdown between Christmas and New Year's Second-chance employer with background results reviewed individually Opportunity to lead a skilled custom-manufacturing team and drive operational improvements Friendly Team.
