About the Role As an Additive Manufacturing Team Lead, you will spearhead our 3D printing operations, ensuring high-quality output and operational efficiency. You will play a critical role in mentoring technical staff and optimizing production workflows to meet evolving customer demands. Responsibilities Direct daily production workflows to guarantee the timely delivery of precision-engineered components. Mentor and develop a high-performing team of additive manufacturing technicians. Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, from initial design review and material selection to final finishing and quality assurance. Analyze technical drawings and customer specifications to ensure strict adherence to project requirements. Implement continuous improvement strategies and robust preventative maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime. Serve as a technical consultant for clients, providing expert guidance on material properties and manufacturing feasibility. Oversee inventory procurement to ensure seamless production continuity. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience. 3+ years of leadership experience within a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Deep understanding of modern production methodologies and process optimization. Proven ability to manage complex project portfolios and shifting priorities. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and client needs. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with industrial additive manufacturing technologies. Demonstrated success applying Lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve throughput. Strong passion for driving innovation and adopting emerging manufacturing technologies.
