To support our rapid growth of production in 2026, we are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations and drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This role combines hands-on operational leadership with strategic oversight—leading the team, implementing processes, and driving continuous improvement to ensure efficient, high-quality production. Full-Time Career Opportunity The Plant Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing facility including production, maintenance, shipping and receiving and quality control. Responsibilities include plant optimization to ensure maximum production, safety, quality while reducing waste, lead times and costs. This position reports to the CEO. Key Responsibilities Operations Management Own the creation and refinement of construction drawings that allow our sauna and cabins to be built clearly, efficiently, and consistently Oversees the daily operations of the manufacturing plant and ensures it meets production goals at minimal cost Directs implementation and execution of manufacturing policies and practices Leads the overall manufacturing development strategy and ensures operational standards are being met for key metrics (safety, quality, delivery, waste reduction, and cost). Actively measures the manufacturing team's performance against these metrics. Team Management Manages manufacturing employee performance, including systems to provide employee feedback; empowers, mentors and coaches employees, delivers performance reviews, and assists employees in setting short and long-term goals Identification and implementation of training requirements and continuous improvement measures for all manufacturing personnel Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements Process Improvement & Planning Designs and implements plant procedures, safety protocols, and continuous improvement activities Participates in plant expansion, equipment planning, and conversion strategies Ensures concurrent development of tool, process, and facilities planning in conjunction with design changes and new product development Safety, Compliance, & Facilities Ensures all safety standards and policies are met. Conducts regular observations for safety compliance and corrects unsafe acts. Oversees equipment maintenance, security, and protection Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations Ensures that all assigned work areas are kept clean, organized, and presentable at all times Collaboration & Communication Collaborates with design and client management teams to improve products and processes Responsible for delivering clear and concise communication in a timely manner. Communicates company vision and organizational goals and objectives to continually improve quality, reduce waste, and increase throughput. Establishes, develops, and maintains critical relationships with internal and external stakeholders Ensures adequate communication and coordination across the company, including real-time status and monthly/quarterly reporting Financial Oversight Oversees the manufacturing budget to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements Required Experience and Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or related field experience 12 years of relevant experience with minimum of 5 years of leadership experience of 50+ employees in manufacturing setting Leadership and Communication Skills Articulates ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings, adjusting the message to match the audience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to effectively handle escalations and time critical issues. Remains productive, provides solutions, and meets goals in challenging situations Skilled at coordinating multiple efforts, organizing and prioritizing work, communicating technical issues, and leading a team of individuals with differing levels of skill and experience, enabling them to achieve performance and quality standards Ability to work within and develop high performance teams; strong team player Commitment to Company values. Technical and Operational Expertise Digital skills to manage projects and real-time data (e.g. Monday, Houzz Pro) Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level Operations systems development and deployment Technical skills in Lean Manufacturing techniques, Kaizen, Process Improvement, materials management, production scheduling and quality systems Knowledge of typical production processes, procedures, drawings, and specifications Financial and Business Acumen Proficient at maintaining budgets and cost effectiveness; interprets financial reports and takes appropriate corrective actions Strong customer orientation Compensation and Benefits In-person reporting to the Superior, Wisconsin headquarters. Salary of $125,000 to $175,000 annually, based on experience. Benefits for this role include paid time off, health, dental, and vision insurance for employees and their dependents, and participation in a 401(k) plan with company contribution.
