JOB SUMMARY
Working Leader of a team in support of all manufacturing process. Supports & Trains Team Members in all Essential Functions & Skill Sets required to Continually Improve the Process. Responsible for the Value Stream of there area of operation. Also responsible for all production processes and supportive lean systems of there area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leader of Standardized Work Practices Documentation and Execution Assists other Team Members in Continually improving the Operation Is Required to be able to Proficiently Perform all Job Related Functions of the Operation Trains team members in the application of Lean Tools & Systems Responsible for Product and Process Quality Initially Leads Problem Solving Efforts Actively participate in and help to design TPM and preventive maintenance programs. Assist operators in TPM implementation. Responsible for Assessment & Development of Team Improvement Goals Visual Reporting of Operational Measures Supports the Continual Pursuit of Waste Elimination Responsible for Safety Will Perform Production Work When Team Members are Absent
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Having been trained in Lean Manufacturing Principals is a plus A minimum of an Associates Degree from an accredited educational institution a plus Must have the Ability to Work in a Team Based Environment Any Technical Skills are a plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Has experience with PC based systems Microsoft applications Must have excellent people and communication Skills Must Handle Physical Demands of Production Operations
