Job Description

Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage all night shift fabrication shop operations to ensure productivity, efficiency, and quality standards are consistently met Coordinate daily production schedules and prioritize workflow to meet project deadlines and customer expectations Operate, oversee, and provide support with brake presses, plasma tables, CNC machinery, and other fabrication equipment as needed Lead, train, mentor, and support fabrication shop personnel while fostering accountability and teamwork across the shift Monitor production output and inspect finished products to ensure compliance with company quality control standards and specifications Troubleshoot and resolve production, equipment, and workflow issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop environment while ensuring compliance with all company safety policies and procedures Track material usage, labor productivity, and operational performance to maximize efficiency and reduce waste Communicate effectively with management and day shift personnel to ensure smooth transition between shifts and continuity of operations Assist with process improvements and implementation of best practices to enhance overall shop performance Qualifications Previous experience working in a fabrication or manufacturing shop environment required Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred Hands-on experience operating brake presses, CNC equipment, plasma tables, and other fabrication machinery Strong understanding of fabrication processes, shop workflow, and production scheduling Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and fabrication specifications Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced production environment Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
