Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented 3rd Shift Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team during overnight hours. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily production operations, ensure safety standards are maintained, and drive continuous process improvements. Your leadership will motivate team members, uphold quality standards, and optimize manufacturing efficiency to meet production goals. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members on the 3rd shift, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to schedules Enforce safety protocols and manufacturing standards, promoting a safe working environment for all team members Interpret and follow production documents, technical drawings, and work instructions accurately Utilize measuring instruments and hand tools to verify product specifications and quality compliance Manage inventory levels, perform heavy lifting when necessary, and operate forklifts safely within the facility Conduct regular equipment inspections, identify mechanical issues, and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs or process improvements Lead efforts in lean manufacturing initiatives to eliminate waste and enhance productivity across the assembly line Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role within the plastics industry (blow molding and/or injection molding experience preferred). Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility environments in a leadership role, with a strong understanding of production processes and safety standards Hands-on knowledge of mechanical assembly, power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments Experience managing production or assembly teams in a fast-paced setting Familiarity with warehouse operations, manual handling, and heavy lifting techniques Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead by example Join us as a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor and be part of a dynamic team committed to manufacturing excellence!
