Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Manufacturing Operations Supervisor working a split shift between second and third shift production hours in a fast-paced, food processing production environment. This role is vital in ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. As a supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, manage production teams, and uphold quality standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your leadership will directly impact product quality, safety compliance, and overall operational excellence. This position will work a 7pm- 3am shift. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities with the production supervisors and manufacturing team members during evening shifts to meet production goals. Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols across the manufacturing floor, promoting a safe working environment for all employees. Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Conduct regular safety audits, enforce safety protocol adherence, and facilitate safety training sessions for team members. Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and R&D to support operations and plant trials Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelor's preferred 5+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations Experience in liquid or thermal food processing preferred Strong problem-solving, communication, and hands-on leadership skills Flexibility to support weekend or holiday operations as needed #DP1
