On-site Job Description The Impact You'll Make As our Machining Supervisor, you'll play a key role in supervising hourly employees to deliver high-quality products while meeting production schedules and customer expectations and maintain a safe environment. This role leads daily machining operations, ensuring efficient utilization of personnel, equipment, and resources within a CNC manufacturing environment. The person in this role will provide coaching, direction, and accountability to a team of machine operators and technicians while fostering a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and employee engagement. By developing talent, optimizing processes, and driving operational performance, the Machining Supervisor will help the organization achieve its business objectives and strategic goals and develop the process. This position reports directly to the IPC Operations Manager. What You'll Be Doing Lead daily machining operations to achieve production schedule goals while exceeding customer expectations. Monitor machine utilization, labor efficiency, production output, scrap rates, and workflow to ensure operational targets are met. Partner with Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production issues and implement sustainable solutions. Drive continuous improvement activities focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee development. Assist in the selection, onboarding, and training of new employees and coach, mentor, and develop direct reports. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience working within production environment.
- Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising CNC machining operations, including lathes, mills, or multi-axis machining centers.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing systems.
- Experience with SAP.
