In this vital role, you will oversee daily production activities, ensure adherence to safety standards, and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes. Your leadership will inspire teams to meet quality, efficiency, and safety goals while maintaining a positive and proactive work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape operational excellence and contribute to the success of our manufacturing initiatives. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the Custom Cabinetry & Millwork Manufacturing Warehouse Supervise cabinet builders, finishers, CNC operators, and shop personnel Coordinate production schedules to meet project deadlines Review shop drawings and work orders before production Assign work based on employee skills and project priorities Maintain quality control throughout the manufacturing process Ensure projects are completed accurately and efficiently Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions Monitor shop productivity and labor efficiency Coordinate with project managers, designers, and field installation teams Manage material usage and reduce waste Maintain equipment and coordinate preventative maintenance Train, mentor, and develop shop employees Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards Assist with hiring and performance evaluations Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment Qualifications 7+ years of experience in custom cabinetry or architectural millwork 3+ years in a supervisory or management role preferred Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods and woodworking machinery Experience managing production schedules in a fast-paced environment Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and architectural plans Experience with CNC production processes preferred Knowledge of finishing processes is a plus Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Excellent problem-solving abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Buildertrend or production management software is a plus Preferred Experience High-end residential custom cabinetry Commercial millwork Cabinet Vision or similar design software Lean manufacturing principles Quality assurance and process improvement Join us as a Production Manager and become a key driver of operational excellence!
