The Foreman is responsible for daily production, crew safety, quality of the finished pour, and accurate reporting back to the office. Core Responsibilities Run the daily plan: stage material, sequence the work, and hit production targets without sacrificing quality. Operate Crafco melter/applicator equipment safely and efficiently — temperature control, agitation, application, and end-of-shift cleanout. Direct and coach laborers on proper mastic prep, application, and finishing per spec. Own jobsite safety — daily tailgate talks, PPE compliance, traffic control setup, and hazard awareness in the active right-of-way.

Manage material on the truck:

monitor mastic usage, flag waste, and call in re-orders before running short. Operate and care for crew equipment; perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and report any issues immediately. Coordinate with the General Foreman, inspectors, and locators on site; resolve field conflicts and escalate when needed. Submit accurate daily production reports (footage by work order, crew hours, materials used, photos). Enforce quality standards — joint prep, depth, finish, and clean-up — and rework anything that does not meet spec. Qualifications Hands-on experience with Crafco machines applying mastic, crack-fill, or similar hot-applied sealant materials is required. Valid driver's license with a clean

MVR. CDL

a plus. Able to read construction prints and interpret locate markings. Strong communication skills — comfortable directing a crew and interacting with GCs and inspectors. Physically able to work outdoors in Phoenix heat, lift 50+ lbs, and remain on feet throughout the shift. Work Environment Outdoor field work in active construction zones and public right-of-way. Exposure to traffic, heat, noise, and dust is routine. Standard schedule is full-time, with occasional early starts, extended hours, or weekend work to meet production milestones.
