Production Supervisor Job Description The Production Supervisor plays a key role in directing daily operations for finished goods, with a focus on palletizing and ensuring timely, accurate order fulfillment. This role requires a strong attention to detail, effective leadership, and a commitment to quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Direct daily operations for finished goods, focusing on palletizing and order fulfillment. Monitor hourly production metrics, including case counts, to ensure targets are achieved. Read and execute the daily run plan accurately to meet operational goals. Provide hands-on training and guidance to both new hires and returning team members on equipment and workflow procedures. Enforce adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all company safety policies. Collaborate with the supervisor by promptly reporting any employee-related issues or concerns. Maintain a professional, respectful demeanor in all communications with staff. Essential Skills Experience in production supervision and management. Proficiency with ERP systems and warehouse inventory management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods. Mechanical aptitude and ability to climb stairs and platforms. Good verbal and written communication skills, preferably bilingual in Spanish/English. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with forklifts, inventory control, cycle counts, and inventory management. Leadership experience is preferred. Ability to work in cold and wet environments. Capability to clearly communicate with other leads or supervisors. Comfortable observing fast-moving conveyors. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bakersfield, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
