Our facility located in Fairfield, CA is looking for a Production Supervisor Please see some of the responsibilities for the position listed below: Shift C 9:00pm-7:00am. Pay - Starting at $80,000. depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and implement that all employees are working within our safety guidelines for all employees inside our facility Oversee the hiring and training food production personnel Ensure manufacturing and processing staff wear appropriate sanitary and protective gear to ensure health and safety Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, Monitor every aspect of production to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards Scheduling of personnel for optimal efficiency/ Scheduling within the allocated amount of personnel for each PC running Assist with development of new food products to boost sales and increase generated returns Allot work tasks to every lead on all lines Set production objectives and implement action plans for achieving set targets Prepare periodic reports to update upper management on food production activities Create work shifts to ensure round-the-clock food production operations Identify customer requirements and adjust to meet such needs Undertake continuous training and development of employees Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems- Recruit new operators and leads for lines
- Reporting any issues to shift manager that will keep us from achieving daily planned pounds
- Working with scheduling to ensure production is running as scheduled, come up with solutions when production is falling behind schedule
People Management:
- Set department objectives/KPI's and review/asses ongoing performance of direct reports
- Daily production meetings with leads
- Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required
- Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviors expected of them
- Supervise and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels and accountability
- Motivate and coach the team to operational success
- Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance
- Review, implement and update company records e.g. training metrics, performance reviews, risk assessments
- Communicate KPIs and annual plan so each employee is aware
Management Relationship:
- Work with the management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimize results and improve quality in line with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
