Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and proactive Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee monthly production operations within our manufacturing facility as we only build units once or twice a month and each build is 3-4 business days. The ideal candidate will lead a team of production staff at our manufacturing warehouse, ensure safety and quality standards are maintained, and optimize manufacturing processes to meet company goals. This role offers flexibility and an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules. Monitor manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance productivity and quality. Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations across the plant. Conduct regular training sessions for staff on operational procedures, safety standards, and best practices. Maintain accurate production records, Bill of Material inventory, Inventory shortages and reorder processes, report on key performance indicators, and prepare reports for management review. Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule equipment inspections and repairs, minimizing downtime. Support hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of team members. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing or production supervision, with strong leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality control procedures. Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and implement corrective actions promptly. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with manufacturing software systems and basic computer skills. Nice-to-have skills include experience with lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional technical certifications or degrees are preferred. This position is integral to maintaining our commitment to operational excellence and delivering high-quality products efficiently while fostering a safe workplace environment.
