SUMMARY
Were seeking an experienced Production supervisor Professional. The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience in aerospace composites manufacturing. As a strong communicator and skilled hands-on Production Supervisor, you will oversee our production operations. In this role you will guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. In a fast-paced environment like production, the supervisor is an integral part of the manufacturing process. You must be competent and comprehend complex operations. You should also be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner. Planning and organizing: Create schedules, assign tasks, and prioritize work to meet goalsProvide Resources:

Relay information between management and employees, and communicate company goalsTraining:
Orient new employees and provide training and onboarding; establish and implement cross-training programs within the Production functionsSet training and capabilities goals for TechniciansEvaluating performance: Review work assignments and techniques, and provide feedback for improvementHandling Issues:
Handle both internal and external customer issues that might escalate, and assist with hiring and firingEnsure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance; train employees on how to safely use machinery and follow proceduresSetting Goals:
Set performance goals that align with the companys plans and provide annual performance evaluations, includes reporting performance records and evaluations to Senior LeadershipReview and approve Employee timecards, overtime and requests for paid time off.Continuous Improvement:
Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvementsEnsuring Compliance:
Ensure compliance with legal and company policies and procedures, including meal and rest breaks, safety guidelines and company standardsSubmit reports on performance and progress while maintaining various KPIs Monitor processes for efficiency and collaborate with other departments for optimizationAlign individual performance expectations with organizational goalsProvide fair, constructive, and timely feedback towards performance expectations and goals.REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES

Bachelors degree and 2+years experience in manufacturing environment or 6+ years experience in equivalent role, preferably with manufacturing and compositesExperience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and toolsStrong understanding of composites fabrication processes and equipmentProven skills in MS OfficeOrganizational and leadership abilities, adaptable, able to navigate shifts and maintain positive moraleStrong verbal communication skills, time management skills and be detailed orientedSelf-motivated with a results-driven approachProblem-solving skillsHigh School Diploma; Degree in a technical, engineering or relevant field will be an advantagePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Constant standing/walking/sitting for at least 8 hours. Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs, minimum 35 lbs. Prolonged periods of repetitive movement are required. Holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hand(s). Occasional extending of arms to reach overhead, at shoulder level and below shoulder level.ITAR REQUIREMENTS
