Job Title:
Manufacturing Lead Job Description This role oversees daily manufacturing operations and provides hands-on leadership to a team of machine operators in a production environment. The Manufacturing Lead ensures that manufacturing processes run efficiently, safely, and in alignment with quality standards, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and fostering clear communication in both English and Spanish. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of approximately 10 machine operators in a manufacturing setting. Coordinate daily production activities to ensure manufacturing schedules and targets are met. Monitor manufacturing processes and production lines to maintain efficiency, quality, and safety standards. Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to machine operators to optimize performance and productivity. Assist with troubleshooting production and machine operating issues and escalate concerns when necessary. Promote and support the implementation of lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Communicate effectively in English and Spanish to relay instructions, updates, and feedback to team members. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and manufacturing best practices throughout the production area. Collaborate with other departments to support smooth workflow and resolve production-related challenges. Maintain a positive, organized, and safety-conscious work environment on the production floor. Essential Skills At least 3 years of experience as a lead in a manufacturing environment. Proven leadership experience supervising production or machine operating teams. Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and production operations. Ability to oversee and guide a team of machine operators in a fast-paced environment. Basic bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish. Strong understanding of production workflows and manufacturing best practices. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet production deadlines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with lean manufacturing principles is a plus. Familiarity with lean methodologies used in environments such as Toyota-style production systems. Experience in machine operating or supervision within various manufacturing industries. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Irwindale, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $54080.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
