Production Supervisor

Del Rio Nut Company, an established almond grower, packer, & shipper located in Livingston, California, is recruiting a Production Supervisor to assist in overseeing the day-to-day activities of its packing and shipping operation. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing and ensuring accurate staging, loading, and weighing of daily shipments
• Assisting Plant Manager in the planning and executing of daily packing of orders
• Maintaining current inventory of all necessary supplies and products in various warehouses
• Ensure accuracy of inventory and work with production personnel to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Work closely with Plant Manager to oversee process flow, from the initial receiving of product at harvest through final packing and shipping
• Ensure employee compliance with company food safety standards and programs and assist in conducting employee trainings as needed A strong candidate will:
• Have previous experience in a supervisory position
• Have reasonable forklift operation experience
• Been exposed to some form of nut production and/or processing
• Have leadership qualities and be able to motivate team members and employees
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance a must
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
• Ability to work occasional evenings and/or weekends as needed
• Have basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.

) This position will require an individual who has a 'get the job done' type personality. This is a year-round position with the opportunity for advancement within the company and long-term growth.

Pay:

$70,000.00

• $80,000.
