Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead to join our team. This position is intended for a highly skilled, journeyman-level craftsperson with a minimum of 10 years of experience in welding, fabrication, and both commercial and residential construction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with: Structural steel Architectural metals Miscellaneous metals Custom fabrication The Project Lead must be capable of leading projects from shop fabrication through field installation while coordinating with: Project managers General contractors Architects Engineers Homeowners Other trades This individual must possess a thorough understanding of: Blueprint reading Shop drawings Fabrication layouts Field measurements Welding procedures Installation techniques The candidate should also have a solid working knowledge of commercial and residential construction, including: Concrete work Framing Finish carpentry Drywall Glazing Waterproofing Architectural finishes The Project Lead must clearly understand how these building systems integrate to produce a high-quality finished project. We are looking for someone who is more than a skilled welder. We are looking for a leader who takes ownership of projects, mentors others, solves problems before they become costly, and consistently delivers exceptional craftsmanship. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to producing work that reflects the highest standards of quality and professionalism. Required Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of journeyman-level welding and metal fabrication experience . Proven experience leading crews and managing projects from fabrication through installation. Expert ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and shop drawings. Strong knowledge of structural steel, architectural metals, miscellaneous metals, and custom fabrication. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Clean driving record.
Pay:
$38.00 - $45.00 per hour
