Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Superintendent - Sheet Metal to oversee ductwork fabrication and installation activities across commercial HVAC construction projects. The successful candidate will lead field crews, coordinate installation sequencing, enforce safety standards, and ensure all work is completed in line with project specifications and SMACNA standards
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise duct fabrication, hanging, sealing, and installation activities Manage workforce productivity, materials, and equipment utilisation Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce OSHA/site safety requirements Coordinate with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other construction trades Perform quality inspections, airflow checks, and sealing verification Troubleshoot installation challenges and maintain project schedules Train and mentor sheet metal workers and field personnel Ensure all work complies with project specifications and industry standards
Requirements:
7+ years of commercial sheet metal/HVAC experience 3+ years supervising sheet metal or HVAC installation crews Strong understanding of SMACNA standards and duct systems Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Experience managing crews on active commercial construction projects Strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills OSHA knowledge and commitment to jobsite safety
Pay:
Up to $150,000.00 per year
