Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Powder Coating Shift Supervisor to oversee our powder coating operations.

A successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily production activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and improving productivity and efficiency on the floor. This is a full-time position that requires leadership, a commitment to safety, and a deep understanding of powder coating processes and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the powder coating department including the assignment of work to ensure timely completion of projects. Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to meet production targets and deadlines. Ensure all powder coating work is performed in accordance with company standards and customer specifications. Supervise and train team members in powder coating techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure the finished products meet quality standards. Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality. Maintain inventory of supplies and materials, and ensure equipment is maintained and in good working condition. Enforce safety protocols and regulations, and ensure a clean and safe working environment. Communicate effectively with other supervisors, managers, and departments to ensure smooth operation of the business. Prepare and provide reports on departmental performance, challenges, and progress.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in powder coating or related field is a plus. Proven experience as a supervisor in a powder coating or manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of powder coating processes, materials, and equipment. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and communication skills. Commitment to quality and safety standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
