Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Production Supervisor for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Fountain Valley, CA within the aerospace and defense manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for a hands-on production leader who can guide teams, maintain quality standards, support on-time delivery, and drive continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment. The Production Supervisor will oversee daily 2nd shift operations, coach production employees, coordinate schedules and resources, and partner cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, and Operations.   • Supervise daily 2nd shift production activities to meet safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery goals.
  • Lead, coach, and develop production employees while promoting accountability, teamwork, and adherence to standards.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, IPC/WHMA-A-620, AS9100, customer specifications, and quality management requirements.
  • Monitor production metrics including productivity, quality, scrap, rework, and delivery performance.
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and production schedules to maximize efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, and other departments to resolve production issues, support corrective actions, and identify Lean process improvements. Compensation and Benefits

    $40 to $43 per hour.
