In this role, you will oversee the daily activities of the packaging and slicing teams, ensuring that all products meet strict food safety standards, quality specifications, and production goals. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold sanitation protocols, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily packaging and slicing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards Enforce food safety regulations such as FDA guidelines, HACCP principles, and CGMP practices throughout all processes Monitor sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and compliant food processing plant environment Train team members on proper equipment operation, safety protocols, and food safety practices Conduct regular inspections of machinery, including mechanical systems, to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot issues promptly Maintain accurate documentation related to production logs, sanitation records, and safety reports Utilize basic math skills for quality checks, measurements, and inventory management Operate or oversee the operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed Experience Proven experience in food production or manufacturing environments within the food industry Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP standards, CGMP practices, and sanitation procedures in a food processing plant Mechanical knowledge related to packaging machinery and slicing equipment is highly desirable Prior supervisory or team leadership experience in a food processing or manufacturing setting Familiarity with food safety protocols, quality assurance processes, and safety regulations specific to the food industry Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for quality control and inventory purposes Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing environment is preferred Join our team to lead with energy and precision!
