In this role you will supervise 8-9 employees for large equipment assembly on custom equipment and volumetric concrete mixing machines, tanks and accessories. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, organized and efficient execution of production and assembly activities during the second shift operation. In addition, you will be supervise production staff to meet and exceed daily goals, monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks and reallocate labor as needed to maintain workflow. You will also ensure jobs are prioritized and sequenced correctly, tack and report production metrics (output, downtime, efficiency), enforce and maintain safety policies, provide leadership and maintain high quality assembly and production methods. This is a 2nd shift
DIRECT HIRE
position (4/10 hour days M-F 4:00 pm to 2:30 am) Salary range is from $75-90K depending on experience level
Job Requirements:
10 years experience supervising in a manufacturing and production environment, degree a plus but not required Experience in a hand assembly environment of large equipment, electrical harnesses, cabling, hand and power assembly tools Ability to read and interpret specifications and assembly drawings Experience with quality and mfg. operations a plus (LEAN, Six Sigma, etc.) Strong understanding of shop operations, workflow, quality and safety Must be able to make quick and practical decisions in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and willingness to be "hands-on" and actively engaged with the shop floor operations #VIS
