Position Summary Responsible for Leadership, Management, Supervision, and Coordination of crew personnel activities and performance towards the achievement of divisional and company goals and objectives. Provides training, education, and monitoring of all crew activities. Responsible for the proper care, utilization, security and maintenance of all company assets under their direction. Ability to build out jobs with crews from start to finish with minimal assistance. Ownership of P&L at the job level. Collaboration with division wide team and crews to achieve divisional goals and hit budgets. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Represents companies' best interest in interaction and communication with customers, employees, and vendors.
  • Supervises and coordinates all resources to complete projects within budget and on time.
  • Interprets contracts, as-built drawings, change orders, and job conditions to maximize work production and quality.
  • Assigns and adjusts work procedures to meet daily demands and schedules.
  • Adheres to and enforces company policies and regulations (safety, purchasing, training)
  • Administers and insures adherence to all safety rules and governmental regulations for people and equipment.
  • Ensures all assigned vehicles and equipment are properly utilized, maintained, secured, and clean.
  • Communicates and coordinates all paperwork and information flow with appropriate personnel including billing.
  • Constantly looking to improve efficiency of operations and quality of work completed.
  • Work with divisional personnel and managers to achieve timely completion of all revenue objectives.
  • Accurate and timely reporting on progress of all key indicators
  • Inspects all project site conditions, safety inspections, quality of work and materials used.
  • Involved in all aspects of snow removal procedures and implementation.
  • Capable of assessing crews and jobs for Quality Assurance Supervisory Responsibilities This position has direct reports with Foreman and work crews.
They would coordinate all personnel allocation, evaluations, motivation, discipline, and recognition issues with the Department Manager. This position will interact with management, other department managers, purchasing and office personnel to help achieve all corporate objectives. This position must be able to communicate and interact in a respectable manner, with job site superintendents and customer service representatives. As such a basic level of English proficiency is required. Key Performance Indicators
  • Ability to achieve all weekly production goals and track and report the completion to the Department Manager
  • Ability to communicate production requirements with work crews.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to complete project reports, material purchase orders, and maintenance reports.
  • Ability to speak effectively with customers employees, vendors, and other trades in English.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables in situations with limited guidance.
  • Ability to interpret instructions and give direction from written, oral, scheduled, or diagrammed plans.
  • Ability to apply basic multiplication and divisional concepts to materials.
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, reach with arms, climb, balance heavy objects, kneel, crouch, or crawl in various outdoor environments. Required Qualifications
  • Integrity in all business dealings
  • Valid drivers license and clean record.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of the landscape industry-Emphasis on Commercial Install
  • Ability to meet all physical demands of the position.
  • Basic reasoning abilities to coordinate effective production.
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of landscape equipment
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, areas, and volumes.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screening. Medical marijuana cards are not accepted. Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of commercial landscape and irrigation installation experience with multiple crew management
  • Bilingual communication: English/Spanish
  • Industry contacts with vendors, management companies, and potential employees
  • Computer skills with Word, Excel, Office
  • Management experience within the landscape industry
  • Experience with Aspire software a plus. We Offe

  • In and out of vehicles throughout the day While performing the duties of this job the position is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
The position frequently requires exposure to moving mechanical parts in tight, contained spaces. Encountering wet conditions in both extreme heat and extreme cold is often part of the position. Heavy lifting (excess of sixty pounds) and moving of materials may be required. Frequent driving is required. Noise levels in the work environment are moderate. We are a 100% drug free company. Additionally, while performing the duties of this job, the position is regularly exposed to normal office environmental conditions. Noise levels in the office workplace are occasionally high.
