General Foreman

TWIN MRO, a 100% employee owned turbine component overhaul & repair facility located in South Windsor, CT is seeking a General Foreman. In this role, you will be be expected to oversee shop operations and direct workflow according to daily priorities. You will also support shop personnel through cross-training, development, and observations of performance & quality. The ideal General Foreman candidate will possess the following skills: Familiarity with standard machining operations such as milling, turning and grinding as well as special processes such as plating, thermal spray, welding, heat treating and others. Familiarity with job shop paperwork including travelers, detail sheets, and other repair documents Proven ability to supervise medium-to-large teams with broad workscopes Proven ability to leverage KPIs when objectively determining performance, and exhibit behaviors that support positive reinforcement as well as corrective action when needed Previous work experience in an Aerospace Manufacturing environment is required Previous work experience in an Overhaul & Repair environment is a plus but NOT required •Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
