JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Proline is a division of HPC Foodservice. Proline is hiring a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing cooking equipment at our customer locations. Our technicians also provide preventative maintenance (PM) inspections and respond to emergency service calls on equipment. We service restaurants, schools, hotels, grocery stores, country clubs and healthcare communities. This is a full-time, union position within Teamsters Local 671. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

The Proline Field Service Technician reports directly to the Proline General Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, Troubleshoot, Diagnose, and Repair Commercial Cooking Equipment Treat customers and employees with respect, courtesy and professionalism Complete service calls promptly and according to procedure Communicate effectively with customers and managers Participate in a normal rotation of after-hours and weekend on-call schedule Maintain Service Vehicle, parts, tools and uniforms Attend Training Sessions Follows all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety. Other Duties as Assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Education :

High school diploma.

Experience :

Working on cooking equipment such as ovens, combi ovens, fryers, etc. a plus Electrical, Plumbing or HVAC a plus Extremely strong customer communication skills 100% dedication to working hard, being on time, and staying organized

Reasoning :

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Must have basic English, writing, math, and computer skills.

Other :

Maintain a good personal appearance Must have valid driver's license Ability to lift 75 lbs. Possess or willingness to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card. Must have strong people skills to work with diverse customer base. Excellent capacity for dealing with internal/external customers CFESA training a plus As part of the interview process, shortlisted candidates will complete a technical skills assessment .
