Job Description

Production Supervisor $65-85k Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Position Summary The Production Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact between manufacturing employees and management. This position is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring workflow efficiency, maintaining productivity and quality standards, and promoting a safe and positive work environment. The Production Supervisor partners closely with the Production Manager, Human Resources, and Division Management to support staffing needs, employee development, training, scheduling, and performance management. This role requires strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Reliable on-site attendance is required. Essential Functions Production & Operations Management Schedule and coordinate daily workflow for employees, equipment, and materials to ensure operational efficiency for Day Shift and/or Swing Shift operations. Supervise all production activities and maintain a strong floor presence throughout the shift. Monitor productivity, workflow, and staffing levels to meet production schedules and customer demands. Ensure department standards for productivity, quality, reliability, accuracy, and on-time delivery are consistently achieved. Coordinate with Quality Control to maintain quality standards and implement corrective actions when deficiencies are identified. Maintain working knowledge of all operational systems and production processes related to the work area. Team Leadership & Employee Development Forecast staffing needs based on production demands and assist with workforce planning. Recruit, train, coach, motivate, and evaluate production employees with guidance from the Production Manager and Human Resources. Address employee performance concerns, disciplinary actions, and attendance issues in partnership with Human Resources. Promote employee engagement, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure employees receive required training, including operational and safety training. Communication & Collaboration Collaborate with Human Resources and Division Management on personnel matters including hiring, scheduling, overtime approvals, vacation requests, and timecard approvals. Work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams to resolve production-related issues and support customer satisfaction. Assist management in developing and implementing policies and procedures while ensuring compliance throughout the department. Safety & Compliance Promote and maintain a strong safety culture within the facility. Ensure compliance with company safety programs, policies, and OSHA regulations. Conduct and support required safety training for employees. Identify and address unsafe conditions or behaviors promptly. Additional Responsibilities Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Production Manager or Division Management. Education, Experience & Skill Requirements Required Qualifications 2-4 years of manufacturing experience in crating, packing, warehousing, or related industries. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Proven experience supervising and motivating employees in a manufacturing environment. Experience with employee coaching, corrective action, and training processes. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn company-specific systems such as Sage, Ops Center, and Crate Maker. Strong analytical skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Self-motivated with a strong commitment to operational excellence. Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Ability to understand and promote workplace safety standards and procedures. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed. #INDDH
