Manufacturing Supervisor

We're looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join a modern, temperature-controlled facility specializing in industrial, pharmaceutical, and food & beverage solutions. In this role, you'll oversee a team of 10-15 production employees and play a key role in daily operations. We're seeking a motivated, people-first leader with a strong manufacturing experience, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for developing teams and improving processes. What You'll Do Lead daily production operations with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery Plan labor, assign work, and manage shift priorities to meet production goals Supervise, coach, and develop a team of 10-15 production employees Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performance team culture Ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, cGMP, HACCP, FDA, and internal quality standards Partner closely with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste Use production and quality data to identify trends, solve problems, and implement lasting solutions Support onboarding, training, and cross-training to build team capability and flexibility Promote a strong safety-first culture and ensure OSHA and company standards are met Address equipment and facility issues in collaboration with Maintenance Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and KPI documentation Contribute to planning meetings and operational strategy discussions What We're Looking For 3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (industrial, pharmaceutical, or food & beverage preferred) Proven experience leading 10-15 direct reports Strong people‑leadership and communication skills Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and quality systems Familiarity with regulated manufacturing standards (GMP, HACCP, FDA, etc.) A self‑starter with an entrepreneurial, solutions‑driven mindset Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities Flexibility to support off‑hours or weekend needs when required Preferred Experience Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies Process improvement and production supervision Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments Work Environment You'll work in a clean and temperature‑controlled cleanroom facility designed for precision and consistency. The environment is organized, well-lit, and technology-driven, with clear procedures and ergonomic layouts that support safety and efficiency. While compliance and quality are critical, teamwork and cross-functional collaboration are highly encouraged. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Dover, DE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
