As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Shift Team Leader to join our General Works department for our Atlas Point team. As a business, it is really important to us that we find the best person for the job and that you have the best opportunity to succeed in the role. You will be responsible for twenty union laborers and several non-direct reports and you will be responsible for coordinating, coaching and directing shift personnel in full compliance with site SHE protocols and procedures. The shift leader is ultimately responsible to ensure all production operations are conducted within agreed employee and labor relation practices, quality guidelines and operations supply protocol.
What You'll Be Doing:
Be part of a team that values diversity, sustainability, and continuous innovation, where your ideas and contributions matter. Daily production operations coordination. Coordinate activities of hourly personnel in order to produce quality products. Conduct investigations, provide status reports and perform record keeping duties as required. Manage positive employee and labor relations through accurate collective bargaining agreement administration Responsible for safe work permit writing. Long term operations improvement Coach and mentor members of shift team for improved performance. Provide support as directed to achieve goals of the Site Operating Strategy.
Who We're Looking For:

High school diploma or relevant subject. Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience with union background Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to walk, sit and/or stand for a minimum of 12 hours per day. May be required to move throughout production areas on uneven surfaces, climb stairs and be exposed to airborne substances.
