Stainless Steel TIG Welder (HVAC Ductwork) - Commercial Construction Project Cocoa Beach, FL 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00
AM Start Project Duration:
6-8 Months We are currently seeking experienced Stainless Steel TIG Welders for a large commercial hotel construction project in Cocoa Beach, FL. This position will focus on the fabrication, fit-up, and welding of stainless steel HVAC ductwork and sheet metal components . This is an excellent opportunity for highly skilled welders looking for steady work on a long-term project with a reputable team. Responsibilities Perform precision TIG welding on stainless steel sheet metal and HVAC ductwork systems . Weld, fabricate, and assemble duct sections, transitions, fittings, and related HVAC components according to project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and shop details. Ensure welds meet quality standards and project requirements. Assist with layout, fit-up, fabrication, and installation support as needed. Inspect completed work for accuracy, appearance, and structural integrity. Follow all jobsite safety procedures and maintain a clean work area. Coordinate with supervisors, HVAC mechanics, and other trades to meet project deadlines. Requirements Proven experience performing TIG welding on stainless steel sheet metal and ductwork . Experience working with commercial HVAC systems and duct fabrication. Current 6G Certification (Required) . Current OSHA Certification (Required) . Must have own TIG welding rig. Ability to read blueprints, fabrication drawings, and project specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Must possess the necessary hand tools for the trade. Experience working on commercial construction projects is preferred. Compensation & Benefits $30-$40 per hour , based on experience and qualifications. $25 per day per diem. Consistent full-time schedule. Long-term project opportunity (6-8 months).
