POSITION
Production Assistant Supervisor
PM REPORTS TO
Line Supervisor
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise department when the supervisor is away from the line, absent that day, or on vacation. Maintains the best quality possible while running the line efficiently. Following specs for each product. Coordinates with servicemen to ensure proper ingredient changeovers. Coordinates with pack out supervisor for product changeovers and to ensure the proper labels are being used. Assures that the product is not only correct, but the appearance is also acceptable. Be aware of any safety hazards on the line & report them to the proper department. Tracking downtime on proper sheets. Communicates with other supervisors throughout the day to make sure product is being run efficiently and properly. Proper utilization of all materials (labor, yields, packaging, meals and batters). Any other duties as assigned by supervisor and management.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Good communication skills and legible writing. Good attendance. Prolonged standing. Reading and understanding product specifications. Occasional lifting. Good working knowledge of breading lines. Must pass basic math test HACCP Certified Highschool diploma or GED referred but not required
