About Us We are a fast-growing candle manufacturing company specializing in religious and specialty candle production. We are looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to help lead our manufacturing team, improve efficiency, maintain quality standards, and ensure production goals are consistently met. This is a leadership position for someone who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Important Requirement Bilingual in English and Spanish is required for this position. Candidates must be able to effectively communicate with both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking employees on the production floor. Position Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations across multiple production lines. This role focuses on employee management, production efficiency, quality control, scheduling, troubleshooting, and maintaining smooth workflow throughout the facility. The ideal candidate must be able to lead by example, communicate clearly with employees, solve problems quickly, and ensure production stays on schedule. Responsibilities Production Oversight Supervise daily operations across production lines Ensure production lines are fully operational and running on time Monitor daily production schedules and priorities Ensure production goals and deadlines are met Minimize downtime and improve overall efficiency Assist in planning and scheduling production for upcoming shifts Employee Management Supervise and support production employees Ensure employees are following company procedures and safety standards Train new employees and help improve team performance Communicate production expectations clearly to line leads and operators Address performance issues and report concerns to management Quality Control Verify correct products, labels, UPCs, colors, wicks, and packaging are being used Monitor product quality throughout production Identify and correct production issues before products are completed Ensure damaged or defective products are handled properly Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout production areas Operational Efficiency Continuously walk and monitor production lines Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, or recurring problems Implement solutions to improve workflow and productivity Help coordinate material flow between warehouse and production Ensure production lines remain supplied with materials to avoid stoppages Inventory & Materials Verify production materials are available before runs begin Coordinate with warehouse staff regarding wax, glass, labels, boxes, and supplies Assist with inventory accuracy and material tracking Ensure excess production and defective products are organized correctly Reporting & Communication Report daily production numbers and issues to management Provide explanations for missed production goals when applicable Communicate equipment problems, staffing concerns, and operational issues promptly Help develop plans for improving production performance Qualifications Previous manufacturing or production supervisory experience required Experience in candle manufacturing or similar production environment preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to manage employees in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Attention to detail and commitment to quality control Basic computer and reporting skills Forklift experience is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with heat, machinery, and production equipment
Compensation & Benefits Compensation:
$60,000
