WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for effectively managing a non-exempt team in order to meet daily operational requirements. The Production Supervisor will focus on meeting both internal and external customer expectations. The position will have a high focus on ensuring all tasks within operations are completed in compliance with the plant's priorities. This position will also have a high focus on developing team members by coaching and mentoring, while striving to improve processes.
Essential Functions:
Establish the team's vision in accordance with plant priorities. Develop and monitor operational performance indicators for each functional area. Create a culture of safety, cleanliness, and accountability that is aligned with the business results. Transform each operation away from 100% inspection quality control to quality assurance through the development of digital process control plans. Design a digital ready world class training program for cross-functional development. Set the plant to a point where we can manage work load by moving employees based on customer demand and not skill sets. Communicate with suppliers, customers, management, and all other functional areas. Participate in meetings to establish goals and priorities, improve alignment and manage utilization of resources. Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives to reduce employee work content to 80% of their capacity. Develop solutions based on root cause analysis and implement action plans supported by documentation and data. Drive continuous improvement and enhance teamwork through the application of Lean tools and methodologies. Design audits for all processes for compliance to customer expectations and ISO requirements. Achieve and maintain 98% compliance.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
A minimum of 1-3 years of Production supervisory experience is required
